ABOUT MARYANNE

Born and raised in Sydney, Australia, where she started her career as a hairdresser, studying hairdressing for more than three decades, she continued to pursue her education in the field and went on to become a qualified Trainer and Assessor.

Her journey as a hairdresser has taken her internationally. She has had the opportunity to work with some of the top hair stylists in the industry and learn from their expertise.
With a holistic outlook Maryanne works with clients and hairdressers helping to increase the visibility of natural textures. Frequently educating and mentoring in the industry whether it be online or in person. Guiding her clients and educating on different techniques used to manage their curly hair.

During her journey of finding and empowering herself Maryanne’s life all but stopped. The most devastating circumstance was when she was diagnosed with breast cancer. Gripped by fear and the will to survive her journey for the battle of her life began.

“We all have a personal story and like many others I experienced and survived cancer.

I look back at my time and I’m honestly overwhelmed with love. I had a great support network and so much love from family and friends.

After treatment I flew to Manhattan New York, I now realise how sick I still was. Truth be told I was determined to fight. I am now Rëzo cut and Rëzo Lites certified and couldn’t have been prouder to have learnt from the best.

My passion is to create confidence and knowledge within my industry. To help all my clients be free from fear to be inspired and to aspire. Thank you for the opportunity and I look forward to meeting you in my Salon.”
